Comcast Corporation Informative - Tech Support-Third Party Equip.
Comcast does not service/troubleshoot third party equipment....
therefore if you call in because your closed captioning is on, or you have analog cable and you cant get any channels because your TV is on "air/ant" mode and not cable mode do not get upset when Comcast refers you to your television manufacturer. Comcast only troubleshoots and services its OWN equipment. DO NOT waste your time on hold trying to get a Comcast representative to program the universal remote you bought at Walmart, its not going to happen.
That also goes for calling in asking how to hook up dvd players or stereo equipment... we do not do that. Sorry!
