Qwest communications Complaint - Disgraceful - qwest communications

Review by myrtlel the turtle. on 2007-06-19
ARIZONA -- Calling Qwest communications is either a love and hate relationship. We love the fine quaility of great people who are mainly working throughout the midwest and Idaho but what we find unreal is the monthly bills with all sorts of things tacked on. phone calls that are not ours to non listed enites, and an activation charge which we never used; and the charge for information calls. We area aloowed six a month, and we get lots of wrong numbers given even to places not connected to that business. We call and ask for credit and seldom does it show up and also we have never called the numbers of times they have listed.
In trying to resolve this and explaining it over and over today I was met with the most disgraceful display of arrogance that I have ever encountered .Finally in desperation this young man said I am cutting you off. I had said he was a "dumb cluck.' after the fourth time.He had asked me over and over the same question as he was not listening to me and could have cared less. So then thinking I would do better I called back and got a mgr. which is like pulling hens teeth at Qwest for the turn around time is 24 to 48 hrs if you ever get called back. Generally, they are never available and this man who I think was the same man hung up the phone on me when I said I was going to turn it over to my attorney unless I could resolve it with them. This I have done and also called into the state attorney generals office , consumer affairs, as somewhere this has to stop in Arizona. The department that I called is the corporation commission.I have also made arrangements to change to Cox communications as we will have unlimited long distance at one flat fee and that way if there are calls that we have not placed and know no one at that number it will not make any difference.Life is too short for this mistreatment.

Qwest representative tells me that those calls were placed there by ATT. This i cannot comprehend why , how or what for.

In addition in the past we have been charged for information calls that we did not make . After a argument they have given us credit.
The thing that that we feel is the most objectionable is the initial response when calling 1 800 224 1111, for it is indicated that everything was closed today except for new business and repair Calling Qwest communications is a love and hate relationship. i love the fine quality of great people who are mainly throughout the midwest and Idaho but what I find unreal is the monthly bills with all sort of things tacked on. phone calls that are not mine to non listed entities, and an activation which I never used. Finally I pressed new service.Even when it is working there is no real way to get to customer service except to select something that you do not want and they transfer you or say they can take care of it.

In addition there is no reaching Denver, the home of the corporate office. you have to write them a letter.

I don't know how the rest of Americans feel but for us at our house this type of service lacks merit and integrity.

Do you like chickens? You have two references to chickens in your post. I'm guessing you type like a hen pecks, but with a little less accuracy. Do they have chickens in Arizona, or do they get instantly fried in that heat? Now I'm hungry for chicken.
