CT Communications Complaint - Horrible Service and Questionable Billing

CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA -- CT Communications, which has recently been purchased by Windstream Communications, has consistently demonstrated some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After calling several times regarding static in the phone line and extremely slow computer connections, a service representative finally showed up. His solution was to run a new line in the crawl space of the house, but he didn't want to do it, so he left the cable and asked if I could run it, then he would come back and connect it!

So, we cancelled the service. That's when our problems really started. The end result is that CTC dragged their feet on cancelling the internet service, and then charged us a full month because the service was one day into their new billing period.

I am so happy to be rid of them, and I pity Windstream in taking over this huge mess of a company.
