Nextel - Sprint Company Complaint - Porting Cell Phone Number
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- My husband has an account with Nextel for about 7 years. one of the subscribers decided to switch to sprint. so we called and purchased a sprint phone and then ported the cell phone number over. within 4 days they disconnect the services because we went over the 150 credit limit. mind you we just bought the phone 4 days ago. I called sprint and they said they charge one month in advance and with all the fess it made the account go over. they said we were pass due. we didn't receive a bill!!!!!!!!!! how were we going to be past due I asked them. they gave us a credit so our limit will be down until we receive our first bill. well we were so unhappy that we decided to bring that phone back to Nextel. we called Nextel and ported the number over and it was suppose to be working within 4 hours. its been 3 days and the number does not work!!! I have called Nextel and they tell me its a problem with sprint. I call sprint and they say its a problem with Nextel. I called Nextel and now they said the number is in their system but they can't get it into the phone and I have to wait 3-5 days or longer for the phone to work. my phone is used for my business. I have 1500 clients and not one person can get in touch with me. I am frustrated with this company and I just want my number ported to my phone so I can receive phone calls.
