DirecTV Inc Complaint - DirecTV has a pattern of screwing the customer!
Let the consumer advocate team know how you feel at (310) 964-6598. Any other number is designed for you to run into dead ends. DirecTV was horrible from the time their installer was two days late, had my friends sign the contract, and urinated in my yard. When he left prematurely, the operator at direcTV told me that it was too late to change our mind since we signed the contract. When we told her they had the wrong signature, she then made promises to keep us in the fold. These promises were as fraudulent as the company itself. We spent another hour on the phone trying to get the promised discount after they incorrectly billed us. This happened twice, as they want to see if you pay attention to their attempts at retention. The worst part was the horrible reception, and the trashy DVR they sent that wont work properly when the capacity gets toward 50%. They decideded to send us a remote to fix the problem. Thanks. They are still trying to get money from us for a cancelled contract that they didn't live up to. We are suing and encourage others not to let them get away with robbery. If you decide that their introductory offers are too good to pass up, watch your bills and be prepared for utter and deserved dissapointment
