Ringza.com Complaint - Misleading - ringtones

Review by Tweety2549 on 2007-06-23
I ordered the service and it did not work with my phone, they should not have sent the ringtones, now nothing can be done. I think I have a refund coming. There sign up was also misleading, you had to sign up before you realized you were being charged 9.99 And even after canceling right away, my money was not refunded.

Tweety, from what I have researched, most of these types of services are a scam in one form or another. There are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of them out there anymore. You should be able to call your service provider and have a blacklisting done which means they can block your phone from ever being able to accept this type of service. For ringtones, you can purchase software for $20 almost anywhere and you can make your own ringtones, share with others, etc. It's a good deal for $20 and you won't be paying a $9.95 monthly fee.
