PMR, LLC Complaint - Membership Fiasco - Accounting
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- I Cancelled my membership back in April 19, 2007. There were many reasons (to include dirty showers and poor customer service) for why I cancelled. However, the main reason was because the accounting office conducted a change or something to the accounting system and dropped my account. I had already paid for the months on my membership to include the last month (paid upon initiating the contract). I paid to the end of March 2007, cancelled in April, paid for May (end of the month contract payment which they explain that I could have the gym until June because I paid for May). Now, I'm getting charged for April even though Gold's received payment for a month that I didn't use. I feel this is unfair to the consumer and it depicts corporate GREED at it's best. It's the principle that matters here. I don't see why Gold's CEO and top managers choose to do business this way. The organization's reputation is becoming so tarnished that they cannot keep members. It's so bad that they have to advertise for a free year membership to entice consumers to their establishment.
They wouldn't have to go to these extremes if they only took care of the customers better and stop lining their pockets.
