Pizza Hut Complaint - Needs Perfecting - Pizza Hut P'Zones
COOLIDGE, ARIZONA -- We decided to try the new Pizza Hut P'Zones for supper tonight, and went to the Pizzza Hut at 109 N. Arizona Blvd, where I ordered the Meaty P'Zone, and my wife got the Pepperoni P'Zone. When we got home, I took the first bite of mine, and something was terribly wrong. I examined the P'Zone closely, and found that the dough was not completely cooked. Only the outside was cooked, and about half of the dough was raw. I stuck my finger into the P'Zone and found the cheese and filling was cold. We called the Pizza Hut and let them know. They said they would make up new ones for us and it would take about 20 minutes. It is a 10 mile round trip from where we live into the store. When the wife got back, both of the P'Zones were Pepperoni, and while much improved, no cigar. What it seems to me is that the oven is set too high, as the outside of the crust gets very dark, but the heat does not penetrate to the fillings. the crew waws very apologetic and did all they could to make this right, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. We will not be buying any more P'Zone's. they still have pretty good pizza, but I'll get my wings at KFC, and we will not get P'Zones again.
