Media Command Systems, LLC Complaint - Poor Quality, Ran off with Money
DALLAS, TEXAS -- Media Command Systems was hired to install home audio and a home theater. With the home audio, I am missing $1,500 in electronics that I never received. The volume controls that were installed in the master bedroom, masterbathroom, living room, and dining room have never worked. Basically, they just stuck these items on the walls in every room. On May 27th, Brian Leftin promised (in a phone conversation with my husband) to deliver these products but has never followed through. In my opinion, Brian Leftin is unprofessional and not honest.
As for the home theater, this is a huge mess in our upstairs. Media Command Systems received half of the money and only installed a screen. They also provided outlets for various equipment but installed them in the wrong place. We hired Krystal Clear to fix the media room and finish out the equipment. If anyone is thinking of using Media Command Systems in the DFW metroplex, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I have copies of receipts and contracts that I would be happy to share with anyone.
In addition,(as part of my new home)the builder had this company install my fire alarm sensors and alarm system. This was part of the price of my home, not an extra or upgrade. When I had an alarm company come out to the house and test the products, I found out that nothing worked. Media Command Systems stuck alarms and sensors on the walls but never connected wires to anything. This cost me an additional $400.
Update: As of yesterday (July 17th) Brian Leftin has sent a harrassing e-mail suggesting that I will be sued if I do not remove this review, citing "slander". In the e-mail he stated, that his "reputation was on the line." Interesting that he didn't care about his reputation when he has charged for products and services we have never received.
July 18th: Brian Leftin sent a second harrassing e-mail to me where he is calling me names and making threats to my family and has told me to "get ready to be served". I will be happy to share these e-mails with anyone who contacts me at my
e-mail address. I'm not sure how Brian thinks insulting me or my family relates to the work he is done in my home. To me, this is another example of his unprofessional work ethics.
I won't respond Brian Leftin's e-mails. I do think the consumer should know what they are getting when they hire Media Command Systems LLC.
