Juniper Bank Complaint - "SAFETY IN NUMBERS"
TEXAS -- Gee wiz, now the web site is down. We all need to make sure and request a paper (snail mail) statement. By law they are obligated to do so whether you pay by electronic payments or snail mail. Everyone who has an account with juniper and is unsatisfied should have a need to do this for documentation in the event of a class action suit for unfair credit practices and for your personal protection, not to mention what it will cost juniper to send such statements. Yes they will blink. Ok, sure they may raise thier "rates", however they are limited by law as to what they can charge, plus they are not the only credit available on this planet. More than likely someone will step up to the plate with better rates, balance transfers etc. And compete for their "former" clients. Eventually they will crash and burn. History does repeat itself.
Again, hit em' where it hurts! Fight fire with fire! Never give up, never surrender. There are consumer rights in your favor if you take the right initiative to pursue. Don't let them use scare tactics and bully you around. If you ask for previous statements, they can charge a fee but they cannot charge for a snail mail billing statement. In addition forward your claim to the federal trade commission. The more complaints they receive the more likely they will open an investigation and audit if they have not already done so. The intent is not to prevent you from paying what you rightfully may owe, but to be treated fairly, by law from being charged bogus fees that are accumulated through loop-holes and unfair trade practice. Again, you must have documentation so please take the time to acquire such and be prepared. In addition, if you find they have reported you "negatively" to a credit agency with or without your knowledge, again, confront the agency for documentation (by law it has to be provided at no charge in event of dispute) and forward this to the federal trade commission. It appears they are taking advantage of a lot of people. Turn the tables an take action now. Look for more info soon.
