Avon.com Informative - Overbilled twice - online order
My complaint is not with the quality of the merchandise from Avon.com. Many years ago I sold Avon and the products are great. But the 2 times that I have ordered merchandise from the website, the price that my debit card or Paypal account was billed did not match the order total at the time that I placed the actual order. I was over-billed both times. Granted it was less than a dollar each time, but I don't believe that a company can just debit your account more at a whim!
When I discovered the error the second time I called the Avon headquarters and was transferred to the voice mail of someone who never returned my call. My bank suggested that I find a local Avon rep so I don't have to buy through the website, and said they can't get my money back.
I believe if I were to order from Avon.com again, they would continue to rip me off by about 50 cents per order. Has anyone else had this experience??
