American Airlines Complaint - Rude Obnoxious Employees
DALLAS, TEXAS -- DFW treated passengers like crap. We were yelled at, and forget trying to ask anyone a question. Very unprofessional and hateful.
We had arrived after 10 PM from DC. Due to weather, our 5:00 flight from DFW had been cancelled, which was moot since we were sitting on the tarmac at Reagan at 5:00. (supposed to leave at 2:00 PM) At 7:00 we were given the go ahead to leave for DFW. Before we deplaned in Dallas, we were told to see the agent at the door to find our connection. The woman curtly told us to see an agent or check out the monitor. I attempted to tell her that we had been delayed and the flight was not on the monitors yet we had tickets with flight numbers that no longer existed, what was I supposed to do. Long story short, I was chewed out several times for trying to get information. The other travelers started telling me that no one could get information. Many of the agents acted like the passengers were the problem. I walked up to the desk at the gate where there were four employees standing and asked about the vaporized flight and what about the baggage. Each one said the same, "Ask the agent." Why are they taking up space if they cannot help anyone. (No, they were not taking care of customers, they kept sending everyone to the line of the "Agent" - All a big joke.
I now have an opinion about the airline's request to be subsidized by the taxpayers so they can stay in business, NO, NO, NO!!! After all of the waste and inefficiency that I witnessed, they do not need to squander our hard earned dollars.
