La Vache Restaurant, San Diego Informative - Unbeliveable - French Restaurant

Review by misic on 2007-07-01
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- Last night I went to La Vache Restaurant on Hillcrest San Diego with my husband and some friends. At first the service was excellent. The food too. The waiter too. And then the lady showed up at our table as a waitress who was helping the guy. Such a rudeness I have never seen in my life in any restaurant I have ever been, and I have been in a lot of them. I didn't have any comment on her behavior. Later that night, I tried to enter the bathroom at the restaurant and somebody was already in there. I waited for 15 minutes and then I started knocking. The "waitress" open the door like she is at her own house with mouth full of toothpaste and toothbrush asking me rudely and arrogantly "What do you want"....in the middle of a restaurant. I was speechless. She said she is busy and sent me across to men's restroom even though I am a woman!!!!????

The manager of the restaurant was not interested in what I had to say. What a professionalism!? If you don't care about your guest, who do you care about then?

I am very disappointed. Even though I was visiting that place at least 3 times a week, I will never go there again!

This sounds like the old Yiddish joke about the lady who was asked what the food at a dinner party was like. She replied, "Acchhh, pure poison, and such small portions, too."

Starlord, that's pretty funny.

Maybe the "server" was busy doing other things in the restroom besides brushing her teeth. Ya know, bodily functions, and so you had to use the mens room. I'm pretty sure you are grown up enough to be able to accept the fact sometimes ya gotta use the mens room, cause the ladies rooms are always jam packed.

I would love to know what rude behavior she bestowed upon that other restaurant patron.

Do tell.
