Champion Air Complaint - Really? Come on...

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA -- I hate to complain about anything, but how can you explain a 12 hour delay in Cancun, Mexico when your airplane lost two pieces off of it at initial take off?
That's right, we were stuck in the Cancun airport for 12 HOURS because our plane broke flying from Oklahoma City to Cancun.
Not only did it happen to me and the rest of the passengers, it also happened the week before! Some of the people on my flight came the Saturday before, on the same plane I might add, and had a 5 hour delay at the DFW Airport.
Worry-free vacations? Not so much.
I will say, however, that the flight attendants and pilots were very amazing and apologized profusely for their company, although they shouldn't have to.
Basically, don't use MLT or Champion Air, because they WILL waste your entire day.

Did you learn of this before or after your flight from Cancun? If before, I believe I'd still be sitting there before I boarded a flight where I had heard the plane was breaking apart.

Was Cancun your destination? Would you prefer to fly on to wherever with pie3ces falling off your plane? this is one time when a delay would not bother me a bit. I want the plane I am in in perfect condition. I would rather arrive late than not arrive at all. What do you expect, for them to pull parts out of their butts?

No, we were trying to go home FROM Cancun. I wasn't so much complaining about the delay, just the way the situation was handled.

And they didn't actually tell us what had happened until we boarded the flight. The entire day they were saying the plane was having "basic mechanical problems".
