Holiday Inn Complaint - Unfair cancellation policy ! - Rude!
I made a reservation at Holiday Inn this morning and I asked how soon I could be in the room since it was 100 degrees outside. They told me it would be several hours and I could try back after 2pm. At 12:30 pm. I called and told them I had found a room and would not need to stay and to cancell my reservation. They were very rude and told me that since I didn't give them 24 hours notice they were going to charge me the 113.00 on my card - even though I did not approve this transaction. I called Holiday Inn customer complaints and they said the same thing. I was never told about a 24 hour cancellation policy when I made the reservation and I believe they are stealing my hard earned money. I will never ever stay at a Holiday Inn ever again! This is not the first time I have heard of trumped up charges coming from them. If you don't like being treated rudely and haveing your money stolen from you don't stay at Holiday Inn.
