B & D Auto Sales II Complaint - Beware! Stay Away! - Auto Sales

Review by E-man99 on 2007-07-06
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- I would like to post my experience with the now known used car dealership "B&D Auto Sales II".

The address: 7104 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA

Since my terrible experience in 2000, this dealership has been through at least 4 business names ex: Big Boyz auto sales II, Route 66 auto sales, Kingfish Auto sales and now B&D auto sales II. The dealerships had been at the same address, 7104 Frankford Ave, PA, 19135 under the same management. This crook has put my wife and I under a great deal pain and suffering. He swindled us out $3000 we had put down as a down payment for a 1992 Nissan Q45. [name removed] promised to take care of repair issues before we purchased the car which we had in writing on the sales slip. My wife and I went to Big Boyz (the name it was originally known as) 8 times in a period of 2 months to pickup the car and each time the repairs was not taken care of (wasting our time/money). On our last attempt to pickup the vehicle, we found that the odometer read 216 miles over the mileage I contracted for the vehicle! This crook was driving the car for his personal errors, while the car was under contract. To make a long story short, I took him to small claims court for the reimbursement of my $3000. After fighting for six months I won the judgment, but the judgement wasn't honored because he changed the name of his business. My wife was pregnant at the time and we needed a vehicle asap. We lost our hard earned money because [name removed] motive to
swindle. I reported him to the BBB and posted my experience on different forums to protect the potential consumer. Please potential consumer, learn from my experience, BEWARE AND STAY AWAY from this establishment. [name removed] is still the management of this establishment.

I have details of my experience by means of court documentations which is available to review per your request.

It sounds like you did everything right. Unfortunately, you also have now found out that just because you get a judgment doesn't mean you can collect on it. You will probably need to hire a collection expert to try and get your money back, but I would have a lawyer review all of your documentation before you do this, as you will probably only recoup a small percentage of the amount owed, if you are successful.
