Best Buy Complaint - Rip off by credit company
FLORENCE, ALABAMA -- First off let me explain that I had been a loyal Best Buy customer for years, spending thousands of dollars a year on products.
I bought my husband a plasma tv for xmas $6100. I took the 2 years same as cash plan. Set it up on my Quicken repeating payment. It got to the last payment and I owed $190 dollars. For some reason the last payment was not sent. Long story short I was charged $1600.79 dollars in interest/late fees for owing $190 dollars. The credit card company did not help and didn't care. I know I was in the wrong by not paying and deserved to pay a penalty. But this was extreme. I nor my friends, or anyone else I talk to will ever be back inside the store.
The sad part is over a lifetime they would have gotten way more than $1600.
