Cingular Wireless Complaint - Service
GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN -- It's rare to get to a point where I'm so angry that I'm no longer in control and shouting, but Cingular scrapes a lot of barrels to find their staff. My cell phone was stolen while I was traveling overseas. I called to report it and also non-renew my service since my contract was up. I called many times, and the hold times took up a ridiculous amount of my life. Each associate I spoke with gave conflicting information. [name removed] should be watered twice a week, maybe she'll grow into a ficus plant that can beautify a lobby somewhere. When I called back regarding an overpayment I made, the next lady was another zero, and I spent over 40 minutes with her only to find out she couldn't help me because I don't have a tracphone (at the start of the call I had asked her "What's a tracphone? I'm not sure what that is"). Also, the IVR automated attendant was no longer recognizing the "correct phone number" I dialed (the Cingular phone number printed on my Cingular statement), which is singularly sad. I am now with Verizon, and I am pleased. Under no circumstances will I entertain the thought of going back to Cingular, not that it matters---they are operating so poorly, they could fold like a bad flan at any moment.
