City of Tacoma Power company Complaint - Surplus wood on Alder lake
TACOMA, WASHINGTON -- July 5,2002
To who it may concern:
My name is Dan Klennert and I am a northwest sculptor, I have a four acre sculpture park three miles east of Elbe Wa. This e-mail is about the drift wood on Alder lake, I just recently noticed a clean up operation on the lake to remove all drift wood. I went to the head quarters for the dam to see if I could gain access to some of the wonderful drift wood, I was refused. I and a lot of other people like using the wood to create works of art and hate to see it destroyed. Is it possible in the future to let people have access to the wood. I would even be willing to pay a fee for a pickup load of driftwood. Please do not pass the buck, find some one who can respond to my concerns. It hurts to see this stuff go up in smoke when it can be used to create something beautiful. Thanks for your time, I can be reached at the following.

To whom it may concern:
I sent you folks an e-mail on July 05, 2002 in regards to gaining access to the drift wood on Alder lake. You have not responded. Again I am a northwest sculptor and my studio is located three miles east of Elbe WA. I create works of art out of scrap metal and mother natures discarded wood, better known as driftwood. I recently contacted your people at the dam to see if I could have access to the wonderful driftwood before they torched it. I was denied. Is it possible in the future to have access to the wood, I would be willing to pay a fee of twenty five dollars a pickup load. It hurts to see the driftwood go up in smoke when it could be used to create something beautiful. I am going to send this e-mail to the local television stations to see if I can get some public support for my cause. I guess you just threw the last e-mail in the garbage.
