sparks Informative - lies - car repair

Review by Anonymous on 2002-07-18
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON -- I went in to have my car checked for electrical problems. The mechanic and his analyzer could find nothing wrong, including the battery test. The manager then came out and said I had a bad battery. I bought a new Interstate battery. A few months later the battery was dead. I had an independent mechanic check it and it would not hold a charge. I went back to Sparks and spoke to the manager about the battery and that I probably did not need it in the first place. He said that the battery was just fine and held a charge. Nobody else has been able to get that battery to hold a charge. I spent about $150 and got nothing except lies and a dead battery.

Hello. Interstate batteries have an 800 number where you can call and get help (right on the battery). That should have been your first step after they gave you the cold shoulder.
