Days Inn Complaint - Reservation System
FREDONIA, NEW YORK -- I have been a customer of Days Inn for 40 years and am increasing dissatisfied with service and quality of hotels. Recently, I tried to cancel a reservation at Days Inn by calling their reservation system. I was put on hold for 4 minutes, then cut off. I called back and was put on hold for 5 minutes while they looked for my reservation to cancel. I gave them my name and reservation number. They said they had no record of such a reservation, so I thought they had made a mistake had been made and I did not have a reservation. I have cell phone records to show the phone calls made to cancel. I got home and had a bill from them. I have spent countless hours trying to straighten this out. The hotel staff sends me to customer service. Customer service sends me to the hotel. I have talked to five different people.
I have decided it is just not worth it to make any more reservations with Days Inn.
