Reliant Energy Complaint - Double Charge and how Reliant handles them

HOUSTON, TEXAS -- The first of June I made the great mistake of paying my son's light bill to Reliant Energy. I cancelled out a bank payment option as it did not provide any place for my name and feared it would cause problems and boy oh boy did it ever. It did not cancel as it showed it did and I proceeded to pay the bill on my debit card. I was billed twice and now going through absolute hell to get my 125. back. My first email from them on June 10 addressed to me said I would have a check in 10 days. June 14 they claim they sent my check made out to my son to his address not mine, claimed it was mailed the 15th of June. Guess what it never comes and now they say I am to blame and it will be 45 days before I get my money .

How's that for a company that claims there number one priority is customer service. Yeah right.
