Riverdeep/Broderbund Complaint Informative - Look before you Leap! Riverdeep/Broderbun Complaint with Crystal Vision and Reservation Rewards

Review by IceSkater on 2007-07-10
WAYNESBORO, PENNSYLVANIA -- I was extremely grateful that I read the article written about "Riverdeep/Broderbund Complaint" with Crystal Vision posted 5/18/2006.

Today I received a phone call from Crystal Vision about a discount membership to purchase items. The cost was only a one time only fee of $49.95 after a 30 day trial. I was interested until he requested my credit card of $20 as a way to gain "access" into the web site.

I asked him to call me back before I made the decision. I researched the web and found many complaints about this company which leads to WLI*RESERVATIONREWARDS Co. taking $9 out of a charge account each month. The salesman never mentioned this and when he returned his call, I told him I wasn't interested after finding complaints about the company on the internet and hung up.

Thank you for your input about this company! Without your "3 cents", I would have been caught with credit card charges. I recommend that anytime a consumer receives a call about purchasing something, do a web search first including checking with the better business bureau.
