Technology USA Compliment - Great Warranty Service

Review by Starlord on 2007-07-11
COOLIDGE, ARIZONA -- Technology USA built a personal computer for me, and it has worked very well until the other night. I had watched DVDs and listened to music CDs while surfing. Then Crystal brought in a CD of photos to download to my hard drive. As soon as we pushed the button and the CD transport closede, the computer shut off. After several times trying to get it to restart, with no success, I used a paper clip to open the drawer and retrieve the CD. Yesterday, I got a new MP3 player, and inserted the CD that came with it. the computer shut down immediately. We took it in to Technology USA and they said they would take a look. We got it back today, and they found that the optic drive had failed. rather than try to troubleshoot or fix the problem, they just installed a new optic drive ($59.99 for the drive $35.00 labor)but because the unit was still under warranty, they did not charge us one red cent. The computer runs like a champ again.

Wow $60 for an optical drive? Sheesh. Congrats on the warranty replacement through.
