Microsoft Network (MSN) Complaint - My Overall Experience with MSN
WASHINGTON -- I know Internet access can bring untold joys to a household. But, as I've learned recently, Internet service providers can bring much sorrow. Unfortunately, I'm writing to you about the sorrow part -- specifically, the overall experience at Microsoft Network, which has left me just furious.
I have had nothing but horrible customer service from your company. When I was tempted to try your service with a $200 rebate I received a CD and everything worked fine. A few weeks later I was getting slower and slower connection speeds and my other family members were unable to even connect under their user-names. I kept pretty good records of the customer service/technical support people I talked to and I had only one semi-helpful person out of them all. In total I talked to over 33 different customer service people and I have gotten nowhere. I talked to the customer service supervisors who were just as bad as the regular agents. One of the supervisors named Curby told me that I had two warnings (after I had called your service stupid and the service agents unhelpful) and that if I got another warning I would be hung up on. I am sick of paying $21.95 a month to have customer service agents talk to me like I am in grade school, slow connections speeds, being disconnected and getting absolutely nowhere. I have spent hours on the phone and have wasted way too much time to have nothing done about this problem.
Because of this, I have every intention of finding another ISP, and I can't in good conscience recommend you to others. How can you make it up to me? I'm glad you asked. I would like Microsoft Network to cancel my service without charging me an outragous fee or asking me for my $200.00 rebate back. I would like my seven months of payments refunded for my wasted time.
Thanks for listening to me. I'll be even more appreciative once I receive your response.
