NetBank Complaint - Credit rating diwn as a reu=sukt of THEIR mistake!

ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA -- I closed my account at NETBANK, via email, balance was $15.00. I kept getting statements indicating they were still taking their $3.00 "monthly service fee". I kept calling and asking them to STOP deducting this amount, close the account and send me the balance. After 3 months, most of the money was gone and I wrote it off as a bad debt. I went to open a new checking account..AND THEY HAVE PUT AN "ACCOUNT ABUSE" NOTATION ON MY CREDIT HISTORY....FOR NONPAYMENT OF THE SERVICE FEES!!!!!!!!!
No one at the "customer no-service" department at NetBank is capable of fixing this for me..they state I must print out the email I sent them to "prove" I requested the account be closed! I am litigating!

Print out the email you sent to them requesting the account be closed and send it to them. then the issue will be closed.

Why are you litigating? In the time it took just to write this complaint, you could have just done what they asked and sent the email with notice to cancel. I bet that would (well should) solve it for you.
