DHL Complaint - Worst Experience Ever
I placed an order for a pricey piece of exercise equipment July 3rd. It was due to be delivered July 6th by DHL. When I read DHL was the sellers shipper, my heart sank.
July 5th it arrived in the local warehouse - perfect, looks like it'll be right on time?
Friday (delivery due) - "Sorry sir, it's in the back of our trucks, it'll be delivered Monday".
Monday - Apparently no one, including the hub supervisor can locate my package. They ask what it contains to gauge the size box they're searching for. They claim once it's located, it'll be delivered Tuesday.
Tuesday - I call customer service, they call the station on their line, I'm placed on hold. The rep keeps clicking back to my line informing me they've placed HIM on hold. He KEEPS clicking back and sighing that I'm wanting to wait for an answer about my package, he clicks back again and says "sir, they hung up on me while I was helping you"!?!?!
They call me finally at 5:30, the employee says "imma let my sup (Presumably supervisor) know, if he don't do it himself to load that package". Only thing missing was a "yo". She claims it'll "definitely" be delivered Wednesday.
Wednesday - Well, phone-tag a few hours, then finally I am called at 5:46 pm and they tell me sorry it'll be delivered tomorrow. I then instruct them to return to shipper. They say "okay fine".
Friday - I check the tracking to see if its in fact been routed back to the seller. Nope, in fact it says it's in transit in my location! I call customer service and make sure it's not being delivered to me, they say no sir it's being returned to the seller. Okay just checking.
20 minutes later I walk outside and the DHL driver is hauling the package toward me! For 10 minutes I'm explaining this to him, he has the nerve to ask if he can just leave it on my doorstep, I finally get him to take it back to his van and he drives off.
I call customer service, they laugh at their fellow employees work ethic, they assure me there will be no problems. Well I check the status a couple hours later, guess what? IT SAYS DELIVERED! FRONT DOOR! Wow.
I call again, the lady snaps at me and claims it merely says that because the driver attempted to deliver it to me, although it says "LD-FD view signature" (which there is no signature, only a LD-FD stamp). She claims it'll reflect being sent back to the seller in a few hours.
Well, it's been almost 2 days since she claimed it'd reflect being routed back to the seller, and it still says "delivered" for a product I'm already refunded for.
