Delta Airlines Complaint - They printed the wrong passenger name on ticket
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I placed an online order for a ticket for my mother, age 73, to fly to Atlanta in two weeks. I had put my stepfather's name on the online submittal regarding using his credit card but had put my mother's name as the passenger...they issued the ticket in HIS name and now won't correct this problem. He has no intention of flying and we have made extensive plans for my mother's visit in two weeks (great-grandchildren coming in from Wash.DC to see her) and I have bought Women of Faith tickets (cost $240.00) for she and I to attend.
I have written several emails to Delta's customer service and all they tell me is that they won't change it - I should have read the rules of travel...and that I must buy her another ticket. Now, not only is the fare about $150.00 more than it was but she nor I can afford to buy yet another ticket for her. My stepfather has NO plans of traveling (he just had a heart-attack and just got out of the hospital)... they don't care. They only want money money money - won't admit to their mistake.
DON'T BOOK AIRLINE TRAVEL WITH DELTA.
