Northwest Airlines Complaint - Incompetent baggage tracing
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA -- Each time I called to track my lost suitcase, I got a different answer from their customer service people as to where my baggage was. Sometimes they told me the baggage was mistakenly sent from Detroit to Central Wisconsin, and at other times, I as told that there's no record of this information anywhere and that they have no idea where I was getting my information from (that the suitcase was in Central Wisconsin) as if I were making it up, when in fact this is what I was told by another customer service person. It was as if the right hand of NWA doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
Now they tell me that baggage has been with their delivery service people since 9pm last night -- that would make it 15 hours ago. Needless to say, no one answers the phone, phone messages are not responded to, and I am still waiting for my bag.
I am used to having my baggage lost -- it is a
fairly routince experience these days. But I have never encountered such incompetence in tracking my baggage, and have always received it the
next day. Needless to say, these experiences were not with NWA.
We have enough choice these days to never have to set foot on a Northwest airlines flight again. It's not worth the few dollars saved.
