Review by kboo11 on 2007-07-17
TROY, MICHIGAN -- I bought a 2004 Jeep grand Cherokee for 38k loaded and couldn't be happier till I drove it off the lot.. 41,212 miles on it. FIRST the front right bearing went out was making a noise but couldn't figure it out till warranty was up with was the third time I brought it in... So I fixed it $450. Next seat heaters had a recall replaced seat heaters and when I got back the seat motor didn't work took back in they said faulty motor, I said it work before I brought it in. They said they couldn't of broke it.... wanted $675 to replace I said no way went home pulled it apart and they had drop some clamps that hold the leather seat together after replacing the seat heaters on a recall that binded the motor(FOOLS)
So I'm done with Jeep never again will I buy from Jeep NEVER!

BEWARE of new jeeps.

It doesn't sound like the problem is the vehicle as much as it is the incompetent service department.

Taking pictures of the problem and documenting their attempt to sell you a $675 motor would have been nice.

Chrysler probably wouldn't give a damn but the local news paper might do a piece on the dealership. (Unless they spend a lot of ad money with the paper)

Glad you avoided being ripped off.
