Prestige Assisted Living Complaint - Billing Difficulties

VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON -- First, let me say that I believe my father received very good care while living at Prestige Assisted Living. My complaint is with regard to a billing dispute I had with them after he passed away. The details of the complaint do not matter, but the way they handled it was unfortunate. Essentially, my two siblings and I placed 5 calls and sent one letter to their corporate office and they all went unanswered. Ignored, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and only then did I get a response. I was happy for that but the person who responded to the complaint felt the need to lie and say that they had made several attempts to contact us in return and that WE did not return their calls. I don't know why people have to resort to blaming the customer, but I find it bad business practice. So I give them an A for their treatment of my father and an C-for customer relations afterward.
