GT Media Inc Complaint - GT Xpress 101 - what a rip

WISCONSIN -- We were interested enough in the infomercial that we decided to try this intersting looking cooking device.

Getting a second unit "free" was not a big deal -if we liked it enough we could give it to our college bound daughter.

I was sold on the two payments of $19.95 each to get two units so we decided to try it.

Unfortunately, the Company shipped 4 units, billed me $68 just for shipping and handling - when I called to complain about the screwed up shipment and get a return authorization code - I was told they would credit me the price of the units but not the shipping and handling. I now get to incur the cost to return the units and battle with the company for proper credit.

Needless to say I am extremely displeased with this company and their scan methods. The Xpress 101 will not occupy any counter space in my home.

Keep them as gifts for Christmas.

Almost every commercial I see on TV or website for products states quite plainly that their guarantee does not include shipping. They can refund your money, but you are on the hook for the shipping charges. That's life.
