Jack Hall Jrs Quality Aluminum Inc Complaint - Jack Hall, Jr.- A Homeowner's Worst Nightmare!
LAKELAND, FLORIDA -- There's no way to cover all of the horrors of this company. I paid $17,000 to have hurricane windows installed in my restored 1925 Craftsmen Bungalow. The windows leak, many are scratched, and five of them are the wrong size- they shrank the openings by nailing in 2x4's which they left unsanded, unsealed, and unpainted after promising that their painter would be there the next day. The window casements had to be remived and completely redone because they were so bad. They damaged the paint both inside and out side and said that it was my responsibility to repair the damage to my house! The workers show up when they want to; they do not follow their set schedules. They left so much glass, aluminum scraps, screws, nails, and wood in my ward that I'm still finding it.
The owner is the biggest jerk I know. He has an excuse for everything and could care less about the quality of his work. His website claims that he is a member of the Better Business Bureau and Aluminum Association of Florida. I contacted both organizations and he is NOT A MEMBER OF EITHER ONE!
When I researched the company on myflorida.com, the State of Florida says that HIS CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE EXPIRED IN 2002 AND HAS NOT BEEN RENEWED.
This business is BAD, BAD NEWS.
