Rite Aid Complaint - Pharmacy Service
ROSEBURG, OREGON -- I phoned in two prescriptions that could be refilled, at 8:15 A.M. on July 19th. On the 21st, I went to pick them up. Waited and waited--not in line - there was none. I asked what the trouble was (several times during the 1 hr+ that I waited - I'm a time watcher) I got answers such as "We're tying to call your doctor." "it's being filled right now." And then I said," I called it in a couple of days ago - why wasn't the doctor called then --if it was needed -- and why are the prescriptions not ready?" Then the reply was, "Oh, they were filled, but we are trying to call the girl who put them away. We can't find one of them and this is her day off."
OK, so I wait some more and finally here come the pills -- but only one prescription! "Where is the other one," I say. "Oh, can you call your doctor?" (on Saturday.) I replied, "It is refillable and I have already been told that it had been filled!" She said "well, I'll have the Pharmacist get on that right away." I said, I'm not waiting another hour -- Forget it! I'm moving on." She apologized and I told her I didn't hold her responsible. (She wasn't the only one I had spoken with and felt that the clerks were not at fault.) I left.
I plan never to shop again at Rite Aid.
