Family Reunion Complaint - Awful Service

Review by Family Reunion on 2007-07-23
MARYLAND -- Reserved a room back in March 2007. Requested a non smoking handicap room. When I arrived in July I was told there were no rooms available for the handicap on the first floor. The hotel only had two floors. So how I a going to get to the second floor without being in too much distress. The hotel was not handicap friendly. There were no ramp, no push button entry doors, and no elevators. Finally made it upstairs to my room. The room was suppose to be a non smoking room. It was not. The room was so laden with the smell of smoke I had to turn the air conditioner on to filter out the smoke. Pool hours were from dawn to dusk. Went down to use the pool only to find out that there was a "private party" from 6pm to 12 midnight. Whatever happen to from dawn to dusk? Amenities are for all the guest to enjoy not a selected few. Most of the front desk staff were very unfriendly. Housekeeper had the nerve to tell me that the girls on the first floor gets better tips than the girls on the second floor. Did I ask NO and at this point ask me if I care. My stay was full of disappointments. Just for the record there were two pepole who were helpul. The staffer that gave directions to the hotel and the staffer who set up the continental breakfast

Are you complaining about your family reunion or some mythical hotel?

Hey, it's Maryland, you know, where the judges dismiss charges against baby-rapers because it takes Maryland three years to find an unnecessary interpreter while a newspaper can find three in two hours.Maybe Maryland should secede from the Union, at the request of the Union.

What is even worse, Star, is that the baby raper spent 4 years in a U.S. High School, but cannot be tried without a translator.
