Texas Steakhouse Compliment - Great Place To Eat - Restaurant

Review by towersurge13 on 2007-07-24
DANVILLE, VIRGINIA -- About a year and a half ago we started driving an hour one way to dine at the Texas Steakhouse in Danville, Va. Overall, during all these months, we've had excellent service and outstanding meals. Visit, introduce yourself to Bob, the manager, and tell him the Suttons recommended his restaurant. He truly cares that his customers have a good experience there. Something that's very rare to find these days. If you like a great steak, there's no place any better that we've found.

We've visited other places within a ninety minute drive, but we always come back to Texas Steakhouse.

Sounds like a great place.
I love a good steak, and you don't get them at Sizzler that's for sure.

There's a name I havenn't heard in a long time. We used to have a Sizzler in Casa Grande, AZ, and it is now Barney's Steakhouse, where you can get a great meal. My wife and I ate at the Sizzler one time before it went under, and were not surprised when it did. I ordered the Prime Rib, and my wife got grilled chicken. Now, I know what Prime Rib is supposed to taste like, and something that tastes like the glue on cardboard boxes smells is not it. My wife said the chicken was tough and rubbery. Our salads looked like they had been stored outside the back door, with the vegetables wilted, and the dressing that neither of us could identify. I almost had to tackle a waitress to get a refill on my coffee. We filled out a customer comment form, and it was all I could do not to fill it up with swear words.
