Wild Blue Informative - No Service, By-By Deposit $280.00

FORTLAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- Buytelco recommended wild blue for my internet service when I moved to an area that did not have cable connections and took my deposit for $280.00,
I set up an appointment with wild blue to be at my new location between the hours of 9:00 am ad 1:00 pm, however the man they were sending never showed and called 3-4 times to reschedule the appointment for that same day, he still didn't show. I called wild blue back, got an appointment for 9:00 the next day, he still never showed, he would call and say he was running behind, then he was an hour away, then he was on the interstate about to turn off onto the exit to my house, this went on for most of the day. I finally called wild blue to cancel my order and he pulled up while I was on the phone. He said he wasn't going to come because he was working for free and wild blue wouldn't pay him, that they were a lousy company, during his complaining he did manage to get the dish up on the roof of the house, but couldn't get a signal, he said that the equipment was faulty, then he said my computer was faulty, he tried to get all the lights to come up on the receiver, he said if I wanted he would come back the next day and finish, but that if I was smart I'd cancel and go with another carrier. I really didn't want to go thru that mess again, so I canceled. Now, the big problem!!!! I have a dish on the roof of my house, they have $280.00 Of my money, they had agreed to come get the dish and refund my money, but, again, no one showed, I called back, they then told me that they don't take them down, that I would have to and that I could not get my deposit back until I (a 61 year old grandmother) get it down, box it up, and ship it back to them and they make sure it isn't damaged. I am too old and in too bad a shape to climb up on my roof take it down, and according to the guy who they hired to put it up there it is damaged!!!! I scrimp and scrape to get by, $280. May not be much to some people but for me it is a lot. I need the internet because, I am in too poor a health to work a regular job and sell @ an on line auction to help off-set medical bill etc. I had to pay another internet server hughs.Net who came out and did a wonderful job, so I am really in deep financial stress right now. In all of my 61 years, I have never, ever, gotten such rotten treatment from a company, never!!! To make matters even worse this company has smaller companies who handle their orders and you cannot get to the actual company or to anyone in charge.
The equipment is to be returned to buytelco, so, I am assuming that they May be one and the same.

I hope you told Wild Blue what the installer said. They should have not only made it right to offset his tirade and poor customer skills, but immediately he needed to be sacked. I don't care how bad you hate your job, you don't bad mouth your employer to a customer.

Why did you go to a 3rd party for service?
don't book a hotel or airline ticket with anyone but the company that is providing the service.
