Spirit Airlines Complaint - Baggage fee charged twice
CALIFORNIA -- Recently I had my flight time changed, the airline did not automatically apply my baggage check fee to the new booking. I had to pay another ten dollars at the gate. Therefore, I paid fifteen dollars for one bag to be checked. I had paid ten dollars on line for both my departing and returning flight. The ticket agents at LAX were not helpful at all in retrieving the information regarding the fee previously paid. The 800 number, I requested from the agent, was not a number that addressed my problem. Neither of the selections applied to my baggage situation. Neither is there a representative for you to talk with to express a concern. It appears that Spirit Airlines does not want to hear from customers.
To other customers, if you have a problem when flying Spirit, do not waste your time trying to contact someone vie phone. You are juse "up the creek without a paddle" because the ticket agents cannot help either. Customer service is not a strong point of Spirit Airlines.
