I have only been using nextel for 9 months and I am ready to pull my hair out. I really expected them to quickly resolve my issues, but to the contrary. I worked as a customer service super for years and never talked or treated customers this way. They really don't care. I was told they had a network problem with Nextel, but they said buying a $250.00 upgraded phone would resolve it. I am not a genious or into cell phone networks at all, but common sense tells me if the network has an issue an expensive phone won't improve my service. They did not care when I told them I would cancel my service and just pay the fee to be able to go with another carrier. I have spoken with 7 people, 3 supervisors in the last 2 days and it is a nightmare! My voice mails are coming to my phone the next day, the two way cuts out all of the time, and the phone drops calls constantly. I had a voice mail from a Nextel Supervisor, I had to listen 5 times to even hear the call back number. I asked for the presidential contact address, I was given a long distance phone number that ended up transferring back to the person I just got off of the phone with. I hope I can find a company with good phone service and that cares about their customers. I was told yesterday I could upgrade to the insurance and it would save me $50.00 on each new phone for my family, but it is $4.99 a month per phone. They are flipping crazy! If anyone knows of a good cell phone company please let me know. My husband is OTR truck driver, I am an RN training, and I have 3 boys, we need good cell phone coverage!!
