Walgreens Complaint - Bathroom use
NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA -- I was in a Walgreen's in the New Orleans French Quarter today with my seven year old daughter and three year old son. They do not allow customers to use the bathroom because of the drunk tourists. As soon as I walked in the door, my seven year old daughter said that she needed to use the bathroom. I knew that they do not let customers use the bathroom, but I felt sure that they would let a seven year old child who was holding herself use the restroom. NO!!! That is the what the assistant manager told me siting "security" reasons. What on earth is a seven year going to steal in the backroom? Anyway, she was in tears as he told me to walk across the street in the busy Quarter to ask another store. I threw a fit, and an employee called the store manager. The store manager gave in, but I still had to tell him that it is wrong that they would tell a mother of a child that the bathroom was off limits. He couldn't even look in the eye to apologize to me. I am still in disbelief!!!!
