Orbitz Complaint - Orbitz scams travelers
I purchased a flight last week on Orbitz - or so I thought! When I went to pull up my itinerary today, my flight for 2 days from now, was not listed. I called customer service and the first person I spoke with informed me that she saw the flight that I booked but due to an "internal glitch" the flight did not process. I would now have to purchase the flight at nearly double the cost!
After connecting with five customer service reps, including supervisors, each agreed that it was a glitch but they could not give me the original price.
Because this was a business flight, I had to book the flight at double the cost.
Additionally, of the five individuals that I spoke with, two did not have a good command of the English language. How helpful can a CSR be if he doesn't understand English????
