Vanderbilt Complaint - Vaderbilts by reputation

VIRGINIA -- Vanderbilt is a very rude company. I don't know where they get their reps from but they hire them to get blood. they are always rude no matter what you are calling them about. i was short 4.00 on a payment and a csr called me to let me know if I did not have it into their office by the close of day they would be filing foreclosure papers on it. I of course blew up and told the csr off which in turn she told me she was going ahead and writing up the papers right then and there. I called back spoke to a different rep who told me to just get the money in that day. so i had to western union the $4.00 to them which of course costed me 12.00 for the western union fee. They must pay their reps by the rudeness they can get out of them. the ruder you are to the customer the more we will pay you or something like that.

Why were they $4.00 short? Did you not pay in full? Tell the whole story and maybe we can help you.

Pomona, four bucks is probably an honest mistake. The kind that people make from time to time and unless it's a chronic problem, should be forgiven. While you have to protect your accounts and make sure they get paid in full, you can do a lot of damage to a business by being petty.
