Extreme Ford Informative - So many lies - extened Warranty

CRYSTAL LAKE, ILLINOIS -- I bought a van from Extreme Ford and also purchased an extended warrantry for said vehicle. I decided to cancel the warranty because not only could I get it cheaper outside the dealership but by cancelling the agreement it would take $2500.00 of the end of my payment. I went in thinking this would be a piece of cake as it says right in the agreement that you cancel this agreement at anytime. There are two business managers at the dealership. Both said yes it is cancelled . They just gave me the run around. I finally had to call the Lisa Madigan's office to file a complaint. Of course all this took time but I did after two months of aggravation and with an adovacate from Lisa Madigan office get the warranty My question to you is Would you ever want to do business with the is dealership?

Just FYI. It usually takes 4 - 6 weeks to cancel a service contract, so you really did not get jerked around too much

As the the comment that the extended warranty was take to six weeks to cancel. First Automative where my service warranty was states if you cancel within the firsty thirty days you get a full refund. But the car dealership wants to get there money so they keep stalling so they will get there money. Caring little about the aggravation that it causes the buyer. both the business managers said it was cancelled Yet I would check with the individual companies where the service contract was held and with the finance company. Nothing was ever done until I contacted the Consumer fraud division.
