Time Warner Complaint - Worst installation, communication and service
FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA -- Probably the worst service I've ever had and still going through it. I set up an installation in my new home in Fullerton after having to wait over a week. Since there was such a long wait for scheduling, I took off a day of work in order to be here for the installer between 10am and 4pm or I would have to wait a month for a weekend install. They pulled a no show and no phone call from Time Warner. After getting a hold of them at my office, they rescheduled another week later. Since they didn't show they said they could reschedule with more definitive time 9am- 12. Okay I take another day off. They also said they would call me 20 minutes before they show.
Guess what, another no show! No call, etc. I finally get a hold of them and of course they apologize and say they will have someone out the next day on Saturday. 20 dollar credit to help with their mistake, whoopy!
Saturday an installer shows up and guess what, he can only install a couple things and claims he doesn't have everything necessary to do it all and the company is out of DVR boxes even though I ordered it now a few weeks back.
Another reschedule in order the next week.
Okay, it's the next week and the installer shows up within the 8-10am window. Hurray! Wait a second, work order is wrong. Work order only shows one room to be installed, and the two needed aren't on the new work order. Original one was correct, but since they have done partal, the new work order is reflected wrong. I get the song and dance about how he is only a hired contractor and he doesn't handle the paperwork.
Oh wait, my cell phone won't get through because it's from out of the area and I need to use a local phone. Guess what, Time Warner installs phones, but you can't call them from your current one. The installer let's me borrow his phone and call Time Warner to fix the work order. I get a hold of a tech and said they would issue a new work order and get back to them after the partial installation. After partial, the installer calls the company and no new work order! He has to leave, and I can't call them since it isn't local for them. I only get a recording and an excuse that the call can't be acccepted since I'm calling from a non local number.
So here I am, after the 4th try at installation that isn't complete, no way to call them, almost a month later and two days off of work and I still need to reschedule another day. I'M SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW I COULD SNAP. Monopoly on cable service in my area is probably the worst thing ever. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, WORST COMMUNICATION, WORST POLICIES, WORST EVERYTHING!
