Netflix Informative - Dishonest Business Practices
Some 3-4 years ago, I joined Netflix. The first 6 months were okay, but do to a job change, I no longer wanted to do it. I thought my wife took care of canceling our subscription. Then some 3 years later I discovered my 3 movies. I also discovered I had been paying $20 a month all this time. I returned them only to have 3 more sent to me. I tried to go online to cancel my subsctription but there is no way to do so. Everything points to my password which I don't remember or the last 4 digits of my credit card which I don't have anymore. There is no phone number for customer service anywhere on web site. It's like once they have you hooked, you ain't getting away. Now, I'm going to have to remember to go over all the credit card bills, and find what card they are charging and try again...IF I DON'T FORGET AGAIN. You would think they would run some reports and see what accounts are not being used regularly and contact that person to see if there is anything wrong. They got $720 out of me just by sitting on the hands and let me pay every month without services rendered. I hate companies that set themselves up like that. Crooks if you ask me.
