Goodson Honda Houston Informative - More money to waste in Houston

Review by austinandie on 2007-07-28
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- This is based merely on Internet/email communications since I felt it wasn't worth my while to drive to Houston for all the fees quoted to me from salesman Rick Wang of Goodson Honda.

I am shopping for another CRV. I asked each dealership/salesman for their base cost, out the door (with TTL & taxes) and several accessories. In addition to these fees, the salesman at Goodson quoted me the following:

Paint & Fabric protector ( I in FARGO?) $299
Deputy Fee (am I paying for security?) $5
Dealer Documents (copying fees?) $50
Bridge/road fee $11.50
Veh inventory tax! $65.51

Their based fee was also more than other local dealers! I guess if you live in Houston, you make more you afford to pay more for the same car you can get for less anyplace else in the US.

Yup....if I give a dealer an additional 5 dollars it is too much. Especially if most consumer magazines and services state that it is a waste of time for things such as protectant, to be used with today's cars due to the way they are made. If you disagree, feel free to donate your extra funds to the dealer of your choice.... or ask for your raise in debating this review.

Come on actually wasted your time with a post complaining about what a dealer is charging in fees? If your budget is that tight and you must complain about $132.01 in additional fees than maybe you should look at a cheaper car.(I did not include the paint and fabric protector for $299 because a lot of dealerships charge double or triple that)
