Spirit Airlines Complaint - Unbelievably bad service
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Spirit Airlines May offer cheap flights (although it's rare that you actually get a bargain) but it's absolutely the worst bargain you could find. My three-day business flight to NY was a nightmare. They are the least customer-friendly company I've ever dealt with. There were many points of dissatisfaction, the worst of which was my flight home to Ft. Lauderdale. My 3:30 PM flight was delayed over and over, until finally at 10 PM it was cancelled. They had another Ft. Laud. flight that night but refused to put us on it, insisting we couldn't leave until the next day at noon.
No refund, no meal/cab/hotel voucher, and the rudest treatment imaginable. I could go on, but I think you get the idea that you shouldn't deal with Spirit for any reason or any price.
Thankfully, jetBlue had a midnight flight and booked me at a reasonable price and the most gracious treatment.
I fly a lot, but I'll only use jetBlue or Delta. My fellow disgusted Spirit passengers agreed wholeheartedly.
