Balduccis Complaint - Balducci's crooked business

I placed 3 orders from the Balducci's SLICK catalog on December 12, 2000 with guaranteed delivery prior to December 20, 2000. None of the orders was received by the date. One order was received prior to New Years. When notified of their poor customer service via a special complaint e-mail address: holidaystatus@balduccis.com they replied, with no apologies, that the orders were reshipped. One arrived spoiled, was re-shipped and arrived damaged. The last order was never received. Attempts to contact the company via telephone and their e-mail and e-commerce site lead to the discovery that they have shut down and are essentially installing road blocks to customers they owe money.

I ordered the 6 months "Meal of the Month Club". Each meal was to arrive the first week of the month.
Jan.-June. The first two months arrived...but March never came! Now...I am out $359.50 for the cost
of the meals...it was charged to my American Express card. They are out of business and I can't
get my money back!
