Mortgage Foreclosure Solutions Complaint - Beware of Mortgage Foreclosure Solutions

Review by bratty on 2007-08-03
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA -- I obtained their services after talking in depth with this company several times... they assured me they could help save my home. My husband had passed away and I was left with bills piling up.. In essence I was behind on my Mortgage payments. The company continuously told me they could help no matter what the situation. I gave them 1,200 that I had to borrow, taking their word for their services.. Ultimately I filed Bankruptcy. They knew in the first week they could not help me, but drug this out to where I had run out of time, I barely had time to file Bankruptcy to save my home.. They wouldn't return my calls, or emails.. I complied with what they said, I sent confirmation of Bankruptcy and a letter requesting a refund like Michael had told me to do. They did everything in their power to assure me not to worry, they could help me. This company is not a reputable company... they said they were members of the BBB and were not.. after my situation.. they did join the BBB.

They have lied and manipulated me from the beginning just to get my money.. they don't care about you as a person. I don't recommend this company to ANYONE.

I am assuming their service was setting up a forbearance. If they did work in that first week, they are entitled to be paid, even if you can't afford the plan presented. I do think $1200 is a bit steep and that BBB thing is a bit brow raising though. I suggest trying to work out a partial refund with them as plan B.

Well it would be easier if they would respond to me.. They agree'd that they only spent 3 hours on this case..

There was no plan presented to me... the Mortgage Company simply said it was too late for ANYTHING... There was no effort to be made here, and by the time the Auction was to be in two days, I had not heard from them.. I obtained an Attorney and filed Bankruptcy just in time to save my home... They lied to the BBB and told them they had referred me to an Attorney to file Bankruptcy... they lied about many things, I trusted them, they said they could stop the Auction... so I sent them the 1,200.00

Try filing a complaint online with Florida's attorney general. Present your case short and sweet. Consumer protection agencies aren't impressed when people lose their home if they feel wrong doing is involved
