Red Lobster Informative - Very slow service - Customer Service
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA -- At work I am part of a group of people that go to different local restaurants for each other's birthdays. On July 31, we chose the Red Lobster on Howe in Sacramento, California. Although the restaurant appeared to be at less than 50% capacity, our group waited about 45 minutes before we were offered water. After we were finished eating, we waited another 30 minutes for the bill so we could leave. We saw our server several times taking care of other people but she just wouldn't come to our table. If anyone else is considering using this restaurant when you have a limited lunch hour, think twice. I wouldn't have even posted this notice except that I wrote Red Lobster corporate two days ago and they couldn't be bothered to respond (Maybe this problem is systemic).
P.S. To the first responder, we really didn't feel like it was our responsibility to hunt down the help. And as I stated earlier, this post is not a complaint but an informative note to the world indicating Red Lobster's concept of customer service.
